How Not To Write A Song Parody

First off, do not ever, ever, ever include the title in the Title area. Put it down below, after a lame introduction that mostly lists your own non-achievements. Also, make a parody that only relates to you, and then explain what it means to you until people fall asleep. Furthermore, increase the level of fail in your post by raising the standards people set on you. This can easily be accomplished simply by parody'ing a song everyone knows, such as the Sound Of Music Favorite Things Song.

I actually really like this parody I made, and it's about my favorite things.

Favorite Things Song
Mend th' sails
scrawled by Petre Pan on t' date o' Day o' the Sun, Marrrch 21, 2010 roundabouts 12:03 in the evenin'
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Running from zombies and not being bitten
Feeling the airplane lift on sunlit wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Tree-climbing barefoot and innocent kisses
Glimmering lightsabers, soft-spoken wishes
Someone else joining with me as I sing
These are a few of my favorite things

When the time flies
When the lies sting
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Acai berry smoothes and fresh saucy sushi
Secret steam tunn'ling and mud when it's squishy
Flying my sibling up high on the swing
These are a few of my favorite things
Talking to strangers and talking of Jesus
Writing of battles and One who can see us
Dancing all night my alarm never rings
These are a few of my favorite things

When the time flies
When the lies sting
When I go insane
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so lame!
